I Am Home Alone And Am Thinking

I used to think money could buy happiness. Then I started talking to this woman. Her and her husband are stinking rich. I mean, we could live comfortably on her salary alone and she's not the main wage earner. She's absolutely miserable, always complaining and her marriage is falling apart 🤷‍♀️ so I guess no money in the world can help feeling like that.

@Starsandfire Ya I've been without money so I know it can definitely add a lot of insecurity if you don't have enough. So money doesn't buy happiness as long as you have enough of it. If you have to struggle to pay bills it can affect happiness to some extent.

When you can't trust anyone ,not even loved ones
because you think all they want or love is your money
Thats not happiness
I know a lot of well off people
most of them say "I want what you have "
The love and respect of my family and peace of mind
You can't buy either
I would not be them for all the gold in Vatican

can you imagine what 1 ring worn by a pope say from 1700's would be worth ,,they have a room full of them and Mitre's

almost every winner of huge lotteries say it ruined their lives ,,I know well off men ,,,they have nice cars ,more then one mansion ,yachts ,,and bored out of their minds
I love when they hire me to diliver a yaht or car to one of their homes in another state
They used to beg me to hang out and drink with them after I was done working for the day ,,
They knew their money didn't impress me
I loved working ,and their money enabled me to do the kind of work I loved ,,while they watched me
"I sure wish I knew how to do that "
always wanting to help

Yea ,you can quote whoever you want ,,I know many of them their money is not making them happy
