Do you drink water straight from the tap?

I rarely do. My go-to source is chilled and filtered water from my refrigerator door.

We have our own well. It is tested often. It comes chilled and filtered from the door of the fridge.

HaHa ...... sorry I missed that!! 😂@Raythedevil:

@SBelle: Cool, my dad and stepmom live next door, they buy bottled, and have a refrigerator with a filter on the dispenser and ice cube maker I believe. Actually, I'm not sure if that takes tap water or the 'water cooler' big bottled water.
@Raythedevil: oh I am jealous! I need to buy one of those refrigerators

I drink water from the tap all the time. I fill my bottle and throw it in the fridge. I have to have it cold.
summertime I buy bottled and in winter I drink tap.

Garden hose is where its at
Our tap water is very clean from what I've heard so I don't mind the tap but generally I just drink bottled water.
MasterDvdC · 61-69, M
All the time. Admittedly I get it from my refrigerator, but I filled the bottle from the tap.

Not often. We have hard water so I prefer filtered water from the fridge.

When I'm home I do - it has that swamp quality to it...
Raythedevil · 56-60, M
@fun4us2b: Swamp water, my favorite...NOT.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
Tap. My fridge does not have that luxury.
Coppercoil · M
I try not.. well water being the exception.
Raythedevil · 56-60, M
@DuchessOfMapleSyrup: Is your tap pointed upward? I always found it difficult to get my mouth in the right position to not make a holy mess.
MasterDvdC · 61-69, M
@Raythedevil: Cup your hand under the faucet and let the water flow over it. Then you can drink out of the side of your hand.
Raythedevil · 56-60, M
@MasterDvdC: That doesn't work too well for me either, I usually use a glass. Actually haven't even tried drinking straight out of the faucet in a long time.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
no way... that tap water where i live is atrocious.

Tap water is fine.
Raythedevil · 56-60, M
No, we don't have running water in this place, I have to put it in jugs outside and then bring it inside to use and drink. And no, no filters or Britta pitchers or anything like that. So I guess in that sense we do drink it straight from the tap (so to speak).
SW-User
I don't like to
MLGecko · 46-50, M
But that is from the same water source your "tap" water is. This sounds like a work around. Can we please bring over the judges??
@MLGecko: well, yeah. But it's got whatever makes it taste funny filtered out. Stupid municipal water system trying to use their science to make my water safe.
@MLGecko: Britax filters removes chlorine and such-like and improves the taste. For example:

Britax® pour through filters remove impurities through the science of adsorption. Different from “absorption,” adsorption happens when particles or molecules adhere to a surface. The activated carbon and ion exchange resins in Brita filters attract and adsorb particles in tap water, making it better tasting and cleaner.

StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
