This is true. And you teach them by how you act and treat others. If you don't have respect and regard for yourself...which comes out in your interactions with others, you will not receive that in return.

I believe people will treat you the way you allow them to treat you, but I don't think teaching them how is relative. You can't change everyone.
Without a doubt, I approach everyone in a friendly matter. But even so, the assholes don't keep too far. That is what I learned the "hard way".🙂

I'm not talking about changing a person I think that's different 👀 Just talking about when you first meet someone, whatever you allow in how they treat you is you saying it's okay. And if you punish someone for example a child because they hit you, they're less likely to hit you again because you've taught them not to through your actions
