So college kids are now sporting white pins as a reminder of their white privilege..

Sorta like how the Jews in Germany had to wear the Star of David as a reminder of their Jewness.

[image deleted]White privelege doesn't exist.

@Booyeah: Oh lol. Your response to her reminds me of this
Booyeah · 41-45, M
@InvaderNice: That reminded me of another meme. Which I just posted on her comment.
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
@Booyeah: Saw it. Lol

I wish these idiots would realise if we stopped talking about racism and why "It's their fault" instead of treating people normally, racism wouldn't be a thing.

When the attention is focused on one thing, another thing is happening behind our backs...this is a distraction to bring down this country.

Where? Nobody ever told me I had to wear a white pin. Sounds like an isolated incident.
Booyeah · 41-45, M
Elizabethtown College, in Pennsylvania.

Ummmm, a small group of students at one small college choosing to wear pins to promote a discussion of white privilege has NOTHING in common with the Nazis. Where do you come up with this crap?
Booyeah · 41-45, M
@InvaderNice: Oh?
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
@Booyeah: At least I think... Was she trying to say that she wasn't sure whether students were wearing the pins proudly or shamefully?
Booyeah · 41-45, M
@InvaderNice: Well they certainly wear them willfully as an expression of their shame over their 'white privilege'.

Or Ignorant "Black Lives Matter" fools rioting and pillaging to remind them of Martin Luther King's messages of peaceful non-violent protest!!
curiosi · 61-69, F
Very sad how ignorant many are and will blindly walk off a cliff.

I prefer hood
Are you Republican?
@Booyeah: you and I are on the exact same page then.
InvaderNice · 26-30, M
Lol!!! I almost snapped at you but then I thought, "Oh... maybe that's not a rhetorical question."
@InvaderNice: 😂
The Neo-Nazis call it "ethnomasochism," but that's really not such a bad coinage.
Booyeah · 41-45, M
That's a new one on me.
I watch all parts of the political spectrum. So it stands to reason that I sometimes peruse the far right and fascist elements of the internet from time to time. I tend to come down on the side of the left economically, but for a lot of social things I'm moderate by today's standards. Some of this shit just isn't helpful on any level, though, no matter what their rationale is for doing it.
You talking about the safety pins everyone was wearing after the election?
Booyeah · 41-45, M
No, it's no longer just safety pins. They're putting these on:
Fauxmyope2 · 26-30, F
There aren't any white pins on my campus.
It was just one school...white puzzle pieces. I imagine more will start doing it now that they've heard about it though.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
This is not right at all.
