Should suicide be normalized?

Everything is the same in the world, except you have the little option, if you like, to walk to a clinic and ask for a pill. A suicide pill. I think the world would be a better place if it was normalized, and one could easily go to a clinic and have a procedure completed to cease their life functions gently and painlessly, and if it weren't demonized or criminalized and anyone could opt out of life at any point.

A suicide pill is a bad idea, especially if someone is allowed to leave with it. I don't think making it easier to end one's life is the right answer. Think about how often people make decisions they later end up regretting. Why make it easy to make a decision in the heat of the moment that can't be undone?

Well, if you do it in the heat of the moment, then it probably feels like the right decision no matter what. It would probably be better for society. Think of how much less population density there would be at all times if it were normalized.
You want to use assisted suicide for population control?!
