Do I really have to explain that? OK, babies are infants, with muscles that do not allow them to walk or stand or feed themselves. "Idiots" refers to people who have less than optimum brain function. An infant or baby does not have a mature brain. Short of an obvious defect a baby has a brain that only functions minimally, controlling a nervous system that handles basic operations like breathing and heart. So what do you think you are saying that babies are idiots?
