What's one of the toughest trials that you have ever been through?

1. Losing my father (2011)
2. Flunking out of college on two occasions (2007-2008, 2013-2014)

Year 2017. I lost everything.
One night in May 2017 my husband declared that he would take everything from me : the house, the kids, my life, that I had to fuck off back to my country.
He did all that. I still do not know the reason why and for what outcome.
On top of that I had to go to court. I broke my ankle and started to experience very severe asthma attacks for the first time in my life.
It was an absolute tsunami of things and I totally burnt out.
It is still ongoing though.

@SW-User really ? it must be a defense mechanism because my life is really rotten tbh.

@revenant So sorry that's the case, but ey, you got this. The road may be tough but I'm certain you're a tough cookie yourself 😉.

@SW-User thank you again Red🙂. I really appreciate it. I just do not wear my heart on my sleeve.
Being diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at age 7 (2001 - 2002) everything in my entire family suddenly changed forever and I'm not the only one who's affected there's also my younger brother and lately in 2019 we found that two young cousins also have it.

I guess besides that I can also count my first college experience (2011) which sucked and I just left it and switched to another college in 2013. Basically the first was with manual wheelchair which meant no confidence or independence and no friends and the other was with my mobility scooter and some confidence, independence and a few friends. I probably was more mentally prepared the second time. It's silly how a silly device can do a lot independence wise, I always had the scooter but the first college wasn't wheelchair accessible, well the second too but they put all the classes in the ground floor.

Having an anxiety disorder for 14 years. It's been very tough. But also the death of my aunt AND her daughter months later was so sad and hard.

Losing my mother in 2016 was the hardest thing I've endured up to now 😪

I try not to count my troubles or my mistakes at night, only my arms, fingers, toes and lungs.

If I focus on what hasn’t gone “right” or my way, I would never smile. And I have to fight hard to smile. Not because I have an illness, it’s a mental health issue... an internal battle I’m fighting the negative pattern of thinking I have :-(
A miscarriage in 2018

Just one of the toughest was watching both parents pass away. Others were different yet just as hard.

Had many trials and tribulations.
