I took an early retirement plan about a year ago, and my pension has served me well thus far. And as a state employee my medical insurance is covered. Once I'm eligible to collect Social Security I'll be in great shape.
I don’t expect to be on my own that long.

So far, it has been Social Security and a little bit from investments. At some point, it will be more from investments and less from SS.

A mixture of State and Private Pensions together with the income from a Property Portfolio🙂

I have a pension from my place of employment, social security, an annuity and interest/dividends from other investments. I retired at 54 so I didn't get the social security for several years. I pays to start saving early in you working years.

Right now we can live off my SS and pension. I did start withdrawals from my 401K to buy new toys. At the moment my wife’s SS and pension are going into savings.

Social Security will probably not be there when I retire.

I depend on Social Security. I'm lucky if I get to eat every day.

@SW-User what was the ceiling for the p38? It didn't have oxygen did it?
@SW-User My long term prospects aren’t good. I just wish it was a matter of will. Be so much easier.
