To be in the here and now, and having learned to accept and move passed my past.
Perfect. Thanks.

It means being there when they need me. It means knowing I am loved and cared about. It means keeping on because it's worth it.
When that all stops, is when I will end.

@Serenitree: Touch wood... God bless her heart.. the gift she gave was love and concern, the most beautiful gift of all.

@Soossie: yup. She's just one of several, but she is always there when I need her, and I don't have to call. She seems to just know.

Having a roof over my head, having food on the table

It means getting by.

In my understanding, surviving means staying alive. To be here now is to live in the moment which means that I am one with the universe, Soossie. Something I aspire to do, but alas, fall far short of attaining
@kbgloves01: I love what you're saying.. Of course there's more to one can be perfect... Why perfect anyway... Work in progress is wonderful, as long as we don't give up.

@Soossie: I agree!!
kbgloves01 · 70-79, M
@Soossie: I agree, Soossie. I thought I noted, but I don't see that the point of life is progress, not perfection. Being perfect is not part of the human condition, but if I stop striving I have become clomplaicent and I stop learning and growing which is what life is all about...
