Lets make a fair trade:

I'll pretend your mask is protecting you.
You pretend I am wearing one.
We will both be happy.
G00GLE · 22-25, M
Let's make another one, you play on the train tracks and I pretend not to see you :)
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@G00GLE Obviously if it doesn't prevent anyone from getting the disease it doesn't stop the spread. It may prolong the spread but the spread will happen masks or no masks. That is simple math. The virus is not going to magically disappear. Effective vaccines are not going to be developed since the virus mutates. The only way to have herd immunity to have people exposed to the disease and let them recover. Treat as required. 15 years ago it was conclusively shown that HQC and zinc are effect treatments for covid like diseases. Lets use them. Mask simply don't work either way.
G00GLE · 22-25, M
@hippyjoe1955
it doesn't stop the spread
Never said they did.
It may prolong the spread
The word you are looking for is "decrease"
Effective vaccines
The common flu is a Coronavirus. We got vaccines for that.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@G00GLE No the word I used is Prolong and it is the correct word for any disease. The flu vaccines are not effective and some have speculated that the flu vaccine has killed more people than covid. I looked at the stats and where I live the flu deaths have significantly increased every year even as vaccines become more readily available. Some years the increase is greater than others but every year for the last 15 years has shown a year over year death rate increase.

Do you understand the concept of physical barriers?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Yes very good. We even exchange hugs and handshakes and occasional kisses. Life is wonderful when you live it.

Why do people pride themselves in being stupid.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Jill1990 Good question. I believe most people simply follow the 'expert' rather than listen to all sides of the debate. Intuitively one would think a mask would help. However intuitively it looks safe to put your finger in a light socket too. The evidence in support of masks is sorely lacking and the evidence in support of no mask is much much greater. Masks don't work. However if they did work why are there no bio-hazardous waste bins for the public to use to dispose of the used masks?
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@hippyjoe1955 Well, I’m honored to talk with such a brilliant man. Smarter than all the experts. Maybe you should go revisit the electrical socket just to make sure.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Jill1990 Which experts do you listen to? The ones that told us all to not wear masks like Dr Fauci or the ones that tell us all to wear masks like Dr Fauci?
Or, you pretend the world is flat and I'll believe in science.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@koos19 You don't know a thing about science. If you did you would know that even the mask manufacturers say that the masks do not prevent viral infections. Surgical masks worn in operating rooms are to keep the person doing the surgery from spitting into the wound or have blood and other body bits splash into their mouth. Others in the operating theater are not wearing masks.
Elessar · 26-30, M
Covidiots like you get fined 400€ here every time they're caught without masks in public soil (indoor or outdoor where >1m distances can't be kept), in some areas 1000€, and recidivists up to 3000€, and it's so satisfying to watch. 😌

Meanwhile our cases are stationary and hospitalized ones (in particular ICUs) keep going down for now.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@hippyjoe1955 In a country that got affected as harshly as Italy, Spain or the U.S, or?
30% masked 70% not masked.
Source for this?
Silly masks don't work.
This from your degree in farming/"engineering"? Because medical researchers seem to suggest otherwise.

Or, in a very susceptible population such as healthcare workers
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Elessar Nice graphics. Did you find them in a crackerjack box? Too funny. They don't work as advertised but sheeple like you fall for anything if an 'expert' says to do it.

Let's look at it like this.
If we're both naked and piss on each other we both get very wet.
If I'm wearing jeans and you piss I get a bit wet.
If we're both wearing jeans and you piss you get a bit wet.
It's not really complicated.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@AudreyA You sound like a trained sheep and not someone who thinks for themselves. Kind of sad. Tell you what. Try straining peas from water using page wire fence material.
AudreyA · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955 just seen your last pathetic response. More prone to give himself the virus🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@AudreyA And if you think your mask will help you not get the virus you don't know a thing about masks.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
You are misrepresenting the point of masks.

I wear a mask to protect YOU.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
Let’s all just continue pretending to be medical experts. Lol
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
The mask protects you from me, not the wearer from others..
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
You don't believe in wearing mask for protection
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@JohnOinger I don't have a seat belt on my couch either.
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
They should wear this.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@FreestyleArt If masks work, how come the goddamndemocrats are keeping churches closed?
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
@sunsporter1649 it's not really a mask. it's a Penis Cup for Athletes XD

@Jabulani Coincidence does not equal causation. Yes the masks have become rarer but social distancing is also decreased in popularity. Most stores you can just walk in and make your purchase no precautions needed.
