Why is it that I know more people who suffer from MRSA than covid?

I have heard of one distant family member who had covid when she died. She was elderly and was medically compromised. An old school chum in the prime of life went to the hospital to have minor surgery. He was dead a month later from MSRA. A fellow that I helped find work didn't show up for work. I found out he was in the hospital and the doctor was about to cut off his arm. It was full of MSRA. A young man came through the program and told me that if he nicked his skin he had to get to the hospital ASAP since he would soon have a full blown MSRA attack.
