Do you get mad at yourself for abusing your body so much?

I have diabetes but don't take care of myself at all the way I should. It's going to come back to bite I know. It already has. Eat better, take meds. But somehow I don't, a death wish maybe? I don't understand it. We are our own best doctors, or our worst you know?
