Im sure youve heard this but you have to put yourself out there. Join a club or the Y. Volunteer somewhere. Take an adult education course like woodworking or beer making. Join a church if youre so inclined.
Right now is a tough time to do any of these things but when things ease up, get out there.
I know I make it sound easy but youll notice I didnt say anything about making friends or meeting people. Immerse yourself in these efforts, make yourself open and available and you'll meet people of both sexes. Want a friend? Be friendly.
