What I’ve come to realize is A lot of pain in life, especially when it comes to people, can be minimized by leaving when the red flags appear they’re prone to unhealthy tendencies rather than continuing to invest only to be inevitable hurt by the foreseeable, preventable thing. It’s not that there aren’t good people out there. It’s that we need to stop wasting our time on the wrong ones then additional time recovering from the wounds.
