Was she right?

I bought my nanny (She does after school care for me once a week and has done so for 4 years) a bottle of wine and a card with just 'From (My son's name) in it.'
She has crohns disease and yet has annoyed me lately as she can't see how hard it is for me. I have a partner but am in the process of divorcing my ex and have a very stressful job. I think she has been unreasonable on a few issues such as needing to know dates and not being honest with me about how she feels. My friend said that if I am angry with her and don't like her then I need to let her go and be appreciated else where. Problem is, my kid likes her and without her I would not be able to work. Yet I only need someone once a week. Is it really necessary for me to like my nanny in this instance?

No it’s not , but it’s also not necessary for her to irritate you either . Perhaps a visit with her about the questions and why she needs to know is in order ... and a reminder of what you are currently going through

@TexChik Yes, my life is very hard right now.
Thanks, I don't like her but I know my son does. She has done a lot for me but that doesn't mean I have to care about her
