I make a point of talking about lost loved ones. The circumstances have never been as tragic as yours, but I find it a real comfort to be able to share memories with others as if they're about to walk through the door any minute. It somehow keeps their spirit right with you. I couldn't bear to keep my losses to myself, I think I'd go mad.
