Did he really think that "pulling out" of ****** was such a progressive idea that it wouldn't matter who would get murdered as a result?

You know what I mean.

I don’t have a problem pulling out of Syria. Our goal should always be less deployment instead of more. The problem is that he’s too much of a headline craving simpleton to actually utilize his own state department and defense department to develop and execute a controlled withdrawal that’s coordinated, negotiated, and communicated in a way that doesn’t result in the slaughter of our allies. This situation punctuates in excruciating fashion how he’s patently unqualified for the job.
Don’t see any loud mouth countries running in to fill the Massive void of 50 troops..
Nobody gives a shit. They just want to pretend to..
Isis was beaten.. now it’s home time.. fight your own battles

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Ideas don't die that easily, and protecting the Kurds from potential mistreatment should be a priority, especially considering Turkey's history with human rights.
By all means pull the troops out but don't be an idiot about it. Now with got a betrayal on our hands, nearly 1000 escaped ISIS fighters and being shot at and cut off by the turks. It is a clusterfuck.

@MethDozer Blair joined in, but the rest?
@MethDozer its about power concessions and compromise. the best people in Europe saw just as the best here saw...

but knowledge is not power these days.

@msros If you're there, yours willing. Despite a stronger opposition. Money leads.
Maybe, but my guess is that he thought thats the ends justified the means and that those ends included a lot more than isolationism.
