Can a black person become racist?

Anyone can be racist.....and the focus of the racism can be those of any other race.
This reminds me of a story that Gregory Hines told on a late night program:
He was talking with a guy who kept saying terrible things about white people....how badly they treated blacks, how they manipulated the system, how they were all racists.
Hines said he let the guy go on for about 10 minutes before saying “You know, my wife is white”.
The guy he talked to was black and racist against whites....but racism doesn’t have to be black and white. I know people who are racist against orientals and those who are racist against Middle Eastern people.

@SW-User don't bring a definition please. let me ask you this: if someone born with blue eyes is he ill? the definition of illness (a disease or period of sickness affecting the body or mind) technically speaking being born with blue eyes is harmful because you miss a very important part of your eye that protects it thus yes they are ill.

But I don't think you ever considered someone born with blue eyes as ill. you see the point now?

I think a lot of people can become racist when a certain race is constantly prejudiced against them. Not saying it's a good thing, but anyone can be racist if that's the sort of mentality they were brought up with.

Personally, I think black people that are racist probably aren't as concerning as white people that are racist and acting on that racism through violence, which is a pretty huge issue.

Being a racist is not restricted to or from any particular race. In fact the idea of racism comes from the Christian teaching of equality of mankind. "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."
