What is more important than love?

Hmmm. Love is a pretty significant motivator in my life. Love for my family, friends and self is enough to push me beyond my limits. It's the key ingredient for my life. So for me.... there's nothing more important.

Some common sense and the willingness to use your brain when making practical decisions involving love. In other words, your heart tells you whom you would like to marry, but your brain and your common sense tell you if you [i]should[/i] marry that person. The worst advice in the world is: Just follow your heart. My niece has followed that advice; she is currently facing her 2nd divorce while living on the streets with her 12 year old daughter. She is stuck in a town 1000 miles from me by court order obtained by her first husband. Her 2nd husband put her and her daughter on the streets. I live in one rented room on a tiny pension and can do little to help her.

That’s kind of hard. There are times love isn’t enough, I know, but are the necessary adjuncts more important? Without love, they wouldn’t be enough either. 🤷‍♀️

I think a lot of things can be more important than love even different types of love overpower love alone. Like self love. 💕
