since its fathers day, what do you like about your dad and what would you want to be different in the relationship?
I love that my dad defends me and is always on my side, if someone says something mean about me I can rely on him to defend me.
one thing that I would change about our relationship is I wish I could share everything about my life to him , I dont know why i am not comfortable with it, i guess im scared I will bore him or i talk too much or I will just say something stupid out of being nervous.
The only thing I like talking to him is jobs, but I am scared of asking him questions because I dont want to ask any stupid questions.

I liked how he tried his best to be a good dad in his mind. He immigrated to the US as a broke chinese man. He worked his ass off and I admire him for that.
What I wish he did change was his mindset that being a good father meant that he provided for my brother and I. He never really directly taught me anything.

my dad was a great guy. he worked hard and taught us how the world worked. he was hard on us but in a kind way. he always made us laugh and that is what i remember about him the most growing up. i wouldnt change a thing
