Has the death of a loved one ever reinvigorated you to live your life more intentionally and passionately?

No because I wish my mom was alive instead. I wish this everyday.

It crushed me

Actually, being a firefighter and EMT and seeing all the horror made me not worry so much about the insignificant things in life!
SW-User
Actually? Yes it has.

When my mother died I went to my aunt’s home to live.it was obvious they didn’t want me and I was an outsider in their family. It made me independent at a young age and I started working on my future, determined to be successful. Obsessed really. So, yes.

I was always too embarrassed to dance because when I was in grade school a friend and her siblings made fun of me once when I started dancing with them.
Then when I was in my early 20's I babysat my sister's twins everyday while she was at work. She had a nice sound system, big mirrors on a couple of walls, and a coffee table she didnt mind if you stood on top of it. So I would watch music videos and copy the moves I saw while playing my own music on the stereo. I did this for months but still wouldnt dance when I went out with my friends.
Then my dad died and I became willing to risk looking silly in front others. So I started dancing and had years of fun.

Yes, but still trying to find my way. I am far from figuring it out.

@ravenwind43 You're very welcome as I've been through this and even after a few years, there isn't a day that I don't think about them.

Yes...
But I do struggle!
Sadly, no. That might be the healthy response to death, but I just wanted to join them. 😑
