Do you like thought provoking documentaries ?

Today I watched "Where childhood died" and it is darn thought provoking.
It's about child soldiers in Syria and the conditions they lived under. It's about 27 mins so it's quite short. I recommend it.

I'm a TED talks watcher. You can find some really interesting stuff on there.

@Wendy33 Ohh...I know....I know...
More than one Ted talk has sent me off on a research mission on various subjects.

@Wraithorn I watched a few today. My subject of choice today was gun violence. I learned some interesting things I didn't know about the second amendment and the NRA.

@Wendy33 Oh, I haven't watched that one yet. That's a bit of a touchy subject in the USA isn't it ? I might check it out, thanks.

I love and hate them I get far too emotional and end up feeling down for days. I might give it a whirl when I'm in a better place. Nice one for the suggestion

@Gangstress Fair enough. I understand. Thanks for answering.

I have to take a break from the child abuse docs. I just finished one about the Catholic Molestation Scandal and also Leaving Neverland (about Michael Jackson's alleged abuse toward those boys).
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@DearAmbellina2113 OK, I understand. Taking a break is necessary lest one becomes depressed.

I don't think it would be wise for someone like me. But it is very nice that you cared enough to recommend it to others ❤️
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Miram I understand. You've seen enough considering where you grew up.
In fact I think a really interesting documentary could be made about your childhood. Not that you would want that. Just saying. 🤗

@Wraithorn 🤗

Yes, very much so. Thanks for the recommendation. I will check it out.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@SW-User No, on Youtube.
SW-User
@Wraithorn Oh OK. Thank you.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@SW-User No worries. I read about it in a news report and when I searched for it I found it on youtube first. Apparently it's been nominated for some kind of award.
SW-User
Thank you. What a wonderful documentary! It really shows the resilience of people who have been through hell and back. Heartbreaking, but also inspiring.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@SW-User Yes, indeed. It's just amazing what some kids have to endure because of some adults. Those people have my respect and I wish them well.

Yes I do. This one sounds rather sad, 😔but I'd like to watch it.
