What the hell happened

@PrivateHell 🤣🤣🤣

This world is going to hell in a handbasket.

The way modern, western society denigrates classical masculinity, despite the fact that we live in; and enjoy a world built mostly by the efforts and sacrifices of these very men. This isn't surprising.

Sad ... but not surprising.

He's a WWE Superstar leave him alone!!!!
User41 · 36-40, M
🤷🏻‍♂️ Don’t look at me.

I don’t even like when dudes wear shorts tbh...

But it’s a free country...
The thing is that Cary Grant's outfit, while having some dated features, could still be worn in a business or formal social setting and be admired. There is no excuse for the other "costume"
Fops like me still go back to the Esquire and Apparel Arts of the thirties for style examples. Here is one.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@LamontCranston Fashions change, but style is eternal!
PrivatePeeks · 26-30, F
Fashion people are crazy
Azrael ·
Don't worry, there are still men that dress like in the 1940s the only difference is not everyone feels forced to dress like that anymore and dresses in a way that makes them happy :)
Lindaisfun · 26-30, F
@Azrael 👍️
[big][c=#BF0080]Whatever happened to having self respect when going out in public.

@MarmeeMarch Walmart...🤦‍♀️
@Lindaisfun Yea 🙁
MarkA · 56-60, M
It's you ladies who constantly crave equality, so us men are slowly trying to dress in a more feminine/androgenous way to make you feel more....equal. Simple!
You can't have it both ways!😂
@MarkA Speak for yourself - I dont dress like a Queer.
I don’t understand the question...a comparison between a gentle man from 1940s and a high fashion runway model from a 2017 avant-garde collection...🤔

By George I got it! The fashion industry has decided to try and make males as insecure and herd driven and females, to double the market.
Danez · M
Well Rock Hudson was gay... or are you referring to the clothing style ;-)
fancyboy · 61-69, M
@MarmeeMarch For sure - he'd have never been caught in those shorts!
Well @fancyboy, he did have a certain flair and style about him. ;-)

But then again, do people today really dress like that anymore?
fancyboy · 61-69, M
@VeronicaJane I haven't seen anybody!
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Back in Cary Grants day, women did fashion, men did "style."
Suits are ugly. This is cool
Guys don't really dress like that 😂
Sjw culture happened
SouthernBoxer · 31-35, M
Good fucking question.
UserNameSW · 46-50, M
Soy happened
The world is fucked...

Although to be fair I dont think you'd see Vin Weasel on the right there, out in the streets!
SW-User
I'm guessing that they both are trying out for the next superman movie but the one on the right has already changed.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
I've never seen a catwalk that didn't parade people looking like nitwits.

No-one would wear that for real out on the streets.

Back in Carey Grant’s day people went to baseball games dressed up like that.
I mean, no one actaully dresses like that. Runway fashion is a whole new ball game.
abe182 · 46-50, M
For the first time I feel like I have some fashion sense. The guy on the right, WTAF?

Every other man still wears suit and ties and not that lol
11knaves11 · 41-45, M
In this representation I'd still be in the 1940's
maturedragon · 26-30, M
I don't understand it myself 🤔
Danez · M
Good question
