No. It's really great for orphaned kids who are a little older or handicapped to be adopted, but I can't imagine NOT putting people through a screening process.

@4meAndyou and a strick screening. When it comes to children it should involve the village . Their safety is our responsibility. Not that i do much to watch CPS. An understaffed and overworked profession.> But at least it doesn't pay well.< Sarcasm

I thought they did. It's the person or panel that decides who a good candidate is in their opinion. Surely unbiased. If that's humanly possible.

People shouldn’t be excluded based on things like race, age (adults) or sexual orientation.
