Do you say hi to the neighbours you don't know much?

Only if they say hi to me first

Yes. I live in a large apartment building, and I am lucky if I remember the names of the people who live in my section of the hallway. I recognize everyone's face, but I have no idea who anyone is by name. Regardless, saying hi to those you recognize is only polite.

Nope. I don't live in an American tv show suburbia where the main character has chats over garden fences with Bob next door randomly. Can't trust any of my neighbours.

I have a daily walk along the seafront where I live and I make it a point to greet everyone that makes eye contact with a hi !!or good morning/ afternoon as the case may be

Yes but that's it, a friendly hello. I don't want to get involved with my neighbors.

I know every person in town by name. I always smile and say hello.

Yes I speak to everyone until they give me reason not to.

No but if they talk I do speak with goodness
