Maybe it's the part of the country I'm from where these phrases were popular in the past but I don't here any of these any more:
By 'eck.
You make a better door than a window.
You'll have it dark.
You've made a wakes of that.
Feggy-eyed.
Doffhead.
Piffy on a rock bun.

@JaggedLittlePill Wow, I had no idea people in other countries said it. It's one of my favourite phrases from my childhood.

@GlassDog Yes, I am trying to remember a few my mother said but I might need more coffee for the bran function to kick in ;)

"Are you priming?"
She was asking if it's my first child (back when I was pregnant).

"It's a bit black over Will's mother's'
Meaning it looks like rain in the distance.
"That was a Potten End shuffle !"
When you're playing cards and you get dealt a bad hand.
"Sixpence spent for a Haporth of tar"
Meaning you spent more than whatever it was worth.
I lived with my Grandfather and one of his was "I'm off to see a man about a dog" ! Whenever he was going out and you asked him where he was going.
Never saw him with one though !
Probably loads if I think about it.
