Is divorcing when children are involved fiscally irresponsible?

SW-User
Making them live in an unhappy environment would be more irresponsible

Its a hard situation. Fiscally speaking, its a hit. But staying together in a toxic relationship can be detrimental to the kids emotionally.

Is it an emotionally/physically abusive situation?

It hurts in every way even financially but sometimes it's the lesser of the two evils. An unhappy or violent home is not emotionally or mentally responsible to put children through

I've gone through a divorce and it's been tough on my son, however, both myself and his mum were truly unhappy, I feel we are both in a better place now to support him through life.

Most are gonna say no, but I come from a family where my mother didn’t divorce because of her kids.
