Feminism is an umbrella term for the thousands of different ways people politically organize around the idea of equality for women. Many kinds of feminists are openly hostile to one another and deciding which one is the 'real' feminist is nonsense.

There are conservatives who appropriate the term feminism who are just cynically trying to promote an agenda which in no way helps women, so I'd call them false feminists. But pretty much anyone who believes in equality should be able to identify as a feminist of some sort.

Sometimes feminism is just walking in the middle of the sidewalk & making a group of guys maneuver around you & walk in a puddle.
