How well do you usually remember your dreams?

Unless I write them down, I generally cannot remember many details or the course of events. But what's strange is if I just concentrate for a little while (such as when I'm lying in bed waiting to fall asleep), I can remember bits of pieces of various dreams that I've had over the years. Sometimes just a brief image, but I can recall countless specific dreams and the feelings/senses that accompanied them.

And I know my mind is just weird. :P

It varies a lot, depending from the moment of awakening. If the dream ends before I awake, I remember nearly nothing. If I awake in the middle of a dream, I rememer some details, but I don't write them down (maybe I should do so - the great Fellini wrote his dreams down and used them later for his masterpieces...).

Usually, too well. I had a weird thing happen to me the other night (I'm going to give little to no description) but 3 times that night I woke myself up in the same scenario in a dream

I can sometimes remember one or two details if I try, but no more than that.

It depends what they are about. Last night, I had a dream about a woman getting attacked by a dog. I always have dreams of swimming pools and swimming. Maybe you’re thinking about the dreams you had because you want to dream about that again?
