@PrivateHell For 70% of the world life is hunger and football in old mine fields. Disease and unbearable suffering, and surprise drone strikes, or chlorine gas.
@puck61 do you face any of that in your personal life? Can worrying about it change any of it? I feel for those people, but there is no point in trashing your own life over things you can't change.
@PrivateHell Of course. I've eaten out of the trash a time or two, but I have been very fortunate, and I love my life. I like to do things with my life. I was just providing the background. Life is what you make it for some of us but what about this young lady, and the 20,000 like her that die every single day?
For those who have been favored by the fickle finger of fate. Some children are born into madness and pain. Constant hunger and thirst. Disease and misery. I wonder about the randomness of life and fortune.
@SW-User Yeah.....shouldn't happen. People try hard to change things, but , in the horn of Africa, shipments of food are often intercepted by religious warlords who take it for themselves ...... It shouldn't be but at the same time, I 've grown callouses towards all of it. I know it's there, but what the hell have 'I' done about it? Not much.
