How old were you when your parents taught you about money?

SW-User
They really didn't teach much about finances at all, I had to figure that out on my own.
They didnt. My dad makes alot and my mom spends it all. She had me forge checks when i was a kid 🤷‍♀️

But yeah dad would always just say save it.

Pretty young, that's why I'm pretty frugal with my money. I know a guy who has spent over a grand buying premium stuff for a video game... 😯

We were very working class and when as a child I wanted toys ..thats when I learnt we didn't have money on superfluous things That's how I learnt. And now as an adult...Im glad I learnt that way.

They didn't, fortunately my current wife is amazing with finances and taught me a lot. Went from terrible credit to fantastic credit in 5 years.

I've learnt from my earliest childhood about money because there were so often no money for toys, for clothes or just for food.

When I first starting getting an allowance. My mother started a saving account for me the day I was born, gave it to me for college.
