What does it say about my mental health status if my shrink texts me on her day off to check on me?

My nurse practitioner who has been in the field for 25 years just texted me...and she just saw me thursday. I must be in rough shape. I dont feel like i am but i answered her honestly when she asked if i have suicidal thoughts. Thats probably it.

@Genieinabottle If you flat out told a health care professional that and they didn’t send you to the hospital to be evaluated, something is very wrong with this picture.

That's definitely it...I'm surprised they didn't put you on the psyche ward in the hospital after you said that...to keep you safe

@Fernie well she is who does my meds and everything for psych issues. I ued to see a dr for meds but i was delegated..

Normally you would be locked up but there is only enough funding for your therapist to babysit you over the phone.
