What is the best live event you've ever attended?

The Rolling Stones, 1978, Old Cleveland Stadium. 86,000+ attendance. (that stadium could fit 100,000) A day long event with 4 bands. Nothing else comes close.
@SW-User Opening was Artful Dodger-who were an Ohio bands that opened in Pittsburgh for a lot of concertds.
Then was Peter Tosh--Bob Marley's protegee. He and Mich did their duet together.
then Kansas. It began to rain so they sang "all we are is dust in the rain: and to this day i STILL sing it that way. I get odd looks.
it was alight drizzle during the Stone show so they removed the mics and used wireless mics. That was odd then.

i was there a few hours before any show began and they piped in The Rolling Stones music and that only. Now you may think WMMS and the Buzzard did this. nope.

Pittsburgh's WDVE did that- I felt at home! And at that time Pgh and Cle HATED each other as Modell still had a team there. And Rooney was stil alive, the two liked each other.

That was surreal. Ohioan's being treated to a Pittsburgh station in their city! i loved it.

@Elandra77 If I remember the timeline right, that would have been shortly after Keith's drug trial in Canada.

I've actually got an Artful Dodger record, so I'm familiar with them. I absolutely love Peter Tosh. Add Kansas, and that's quite a lineup. Are you familiar with Crack the Sky? They were pretty popular in that region and put out some great records in the mid-70's.
@SW-User Yes-that was close his drug trial. When he was forced to form The New Barbarians. The Concert was in June. The drug trial in March of 1977.

I heard of them but are unaware of their material.

@MistyCee I'm much more into jazz and blues than I am country, but I still enjoyed Nashville a lot. Nashville turned out to offer some excellent culinary experiences too, which really surprised me.
@SW-User Have you checked out Austin? I spent 4 years at UT and while it's changed, its still a great place for R and B.
SW-User
@MistyCee Not yet, but it's on my wishlist.
