What is it with the desire to confess?

I am not sure what the deal is but it's very real. It might be that I want people to know me better. It might be that I want to be punished in some way. I don't know but I do know I feel like going on Facebook and confessing, just, everything. I'm not going to do it but the desire is very real.

May stem from a desire to have your internal truths match an external reality. The schism between the twomay be the cause for your distress

@Jouskan47 I tend to think that's it. No big need for punishment - just a desire for authenticity. I think anyway.
