How do I stop being jealous?

GerOttman · 61-69, M Best Comment
Jealousy results from the illusion of control and possession. It is also based on a lack of self confidence. If a person doubts their own self worth they see everyone around themselves as potential rivals in that others are somehow inevitably 'better' than themselves. Realizing that you cannot own or control another and understanding your own self worth are major steps in discarding jealousy and embracing your own innate superiority. Someone is with you because you're the best. Not the best available, not because there were no other choices, but because you are the one! Then all you need to do is live up to your own best expectations of yourself and the world is your oyster!

I’ve never been the jealous type except once. And that was because of what I found out a few months ago then it past because I knew I deserved a good relationship with myself. Exercise and plenty of rest after eating healthy meals helped me and funnily enough the same person who hurt me that caused me this moment of jealousy started to see me again and wanted to be in my life again.

work on yourself, figure out the root of your insecurity.

Pay attention to yourself only. Don’t think about anyone’s success. And try to be happy if someone shares there success story and also try to get inspiration from them.

If you really want to stop you can train yourself,But if' its always you I doubt you can change that, but you can control the jealousy

Destroying what ever you're jealous of usual works, it's totally unacceptable in most cases, unfortunately.
Identify the roots.
The feeling of insufficiency breeds jealousy.
