Would you move towns for work? Or would you try to get any job you could in the town you live in?

MaryJanine · 61-69, F
Neither. I am presently on disability (arthritic knees) and live in an apartment only a block-and-a-half from my childhood home.

I LIKE my neighborhood. It is relatively safe and generally quiet, and best of all, I live on a major bus line. That means it's a five-minute ride to any of the usual stores - Michaels, CVS, Petco,Walgreens, Bed, Bath and Beyond - and easy to get there. I know most of the people around me and I "lucked into" this apartment because the building was owned by the person who bought my house. If I want a hamburger from McDonalds or a delivery of a sandwich, both concerns are in the next block - and both deliver.
I would move to a place who had the job I wanted with the best pay, assuming I was in the position to move
I would be willing to move.
