whats your opinion on trump?

He is not my President. He is loud, manipulative, evil, corrupt, immoral, poisonous, rich, and feels he is above the law and better than average people. Arrogant. Vile. Disgusting. Despicable. I think that is sufficient. Oh. And powerful. Not in a beneficial way.

Finally a president that is not taking shit from any world leader and putting his country first - well done Trump

@nedkelly No he's not putting his country first, he's putting corporations first. He's completely unresponsive to the will of the American populace and instead responds to the will of big money interests.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@nedkelly To be fair, Obama, and Bush, and Clinton, were mostly the same. Obama was not so bad on social issues, I give him that, but his economics were largely status quo business-as-usual American corporatism.
He's a normal guy doing what he thinks is best for his country.

Maybe go about things a little differently but he's made change.
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
@BlueMetalChick Hmm..

Canadian. British.

Same thing.

@Teggy Oy.
He’s a repulsive human being. Joke of a president. Narcissistic clown.

@FelixLegion it’s funny that on a post solely about the thoughts on trump SOMEHOW Hillary STILL is brought into the picture. They’re both horrible, but I would rather have a leader who isn’t an immature child threatening other countries as a leader. Maybe then I wouldn’t shake my head in disgust every time I walk by a tv with the news on. Or be embarassed to show my passport while I’m traveling. Or fear that all hell could break loose on any given day. The man is dangerous and just breeding more dangerous Americans.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
I have a negative opinion of him. He ran his campaign presenting himself as an "outsider" and convincing republican voters that he's different than the corporatist, establishment, business-as-usual members of the party. Which at first intrigued me. He ran as a populist, an anti-establishment candidate who was not beholden to moneyed interests.

However, once elected, he proceeded to completely abandon every last bit of that image and has become possibly the most establishment president of the last century. Trump is solidly under the thumb of every rich corporation and every moneyed private interest that there is, from the NRA to the military industrial complex to the fossil fuel industry and more. You name the special interest group, he's taken campaign contributions from them and returned the favor with legislature they want.

i think he is doing a good job, but sometimes i wish that he handled himself more professionally (like Reagan).
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy Figures. You're gonna pull out of an argument on politics and economics when someone gets specific on you.
@BlueMetalChick No, its because over the years, i have realized what a colossal waste of time that internet arguing is. go argue with someone else on here, theres plenty who will. i got better shit to do.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy But who better to argue with that those who disagree with you most? Isn't that what makes it fun?

He's a soulless grifter who's cheated on every one of his wives, beaten and abused them then made them sign divorce settlements where they couldn't talk about it. He was out raw-dogging a porn star while Melania was home with infant Barron. He's a pervert who used his status at his beauty pageants to walk in on naked teen girls. He's told Howard Stern and others that Ivanka is a good piece of ass and they'd be dating if he wasn't her father. He's used bankruptcy to break small businesses that he used in his building company. All his brands failed. Vodka, meat, everything. His "university" was a fraud, and he paid millions to settle that lawsuit and still screwed the students out of millions more. He's bragged about pawing women against their will. He's a crude, boorish lout rejected completely by the people who know him best, the New York aristocracy.

His poisonous strand of racism goes back at least to his father, memorialized in Woody Guthrie's song "Old Man Trump". He's been fined for redlining against blacks. He hates immigrants yet ended up with an eastern European courtesan as his third wife, then he cheated on her, too.

He's a brute force mobster wannabe who attracts beta male incels who admire his cheap aftershave put-downs of women and who yearn to hurt people as often and as deeply as he has.

He idolizes Hitler and says that there are many fine Nazis. He surrounds himself with eunuch sycophants that whisper to him of the damage he can do by wielding his power.

He is a fully dissipated trust fund weak-jawed loser. If he hadn't been given a million dollars by his father he'd be a failed above-ground pool salesman in Queens leering at little girls at the local park.

He is the payback that white racist American exacted on us for electing a scandal-free black man president.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@dannylove I wouldn't accuse him of idolizing Adolf Hitler, actually, I would say he thinks of Benito Mussolini that way. In fact, he's even posted Mussolini quotes to his Twitter page.
dannylove · 61-69, M
@BlueMetalChick He projects Mussolini, but he yearns for Mein Kampf.
At first I really hated the idea of him becoming president. I was almost ready to pack my bags and move to Canada. I was seriously ready to leave the country if he was elected. (I am just north of the border). When I found out he was going to run for president, I wanted to leave the country. I thought the whole election deal was a farce!

Then I did my research and discovered that he will do a much better job than any of the left wing/right wing parties that were in the running.
He is human and now carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. He is for the people, we would probably be in more turmoil if Hillary was elected! I did my research on all of them. I was going to vote for Jill Stein, but unfortunately she was out of the race from the start. I hated Obama, he did a terrible job through his years in office.

All of the good presidents are gone, even before the Reagan years. I wished I lived in the day when our Founding Fathers were in office. The US would be much different today. But times change and so do people within time.
I was born shortly after JFK and the presidency prior to him all had at least a moral compass for the people of this great nation.

Though I hate politics, I still like to study it. Our Founding Fathers who established our rights as citizens of the United States gave us our amendment's. Those amendment's are slowly being taken away by our own government. Its an attempt by the elite to try and rule the world with their NWO agenda. Not trying to sound like a conspiracy theorist but its actual fact. When you study history, you find truth.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@MamaButterfly If you hated Obama, you should also hate Trump. He's 85% the same as Obama in almost all areas where it matters. Same warmongering in the Middle East, same godawful tax plans that give all the benefits to the rich, same allowance for civil asset forfeiture by law enforcement, same outsourcing of jobs and support of free trade agreements. Trump and Obama share a lot more in common than they differ.
@BlueMetalChick I didn't say I hated Trump, I said that I hated the idea of him running for president and wanted to leave the country if he was elected. I am still here in the US and have seen him at work, I am giving him a chance. I want to see change in this country, though I don't approve of all of the choices he makes especially in the area of immigration and the separation of family. He just stopped the order of separation of families crossing the border. I appreciate that of him. If I went to Canada illegally, I think I could still see my family. This order may be good for those who want to go to a new country. I do and don't appreciate foreign trade, like buying at Walmart because I know how the child labor laws are on the other side of the world, like China. I would rather buy my merchandise at "mom & pop' stores then a big world wide corporation like Walmart. Trump is trying to bring jobs back to America for the American people. He may be for the rich, but he is still for the people.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@MamaButterfly My favorite part was this line right here.
Trump is trying to bring jobs back to America for the American people.
Is that maybe why he's outsourced 93,000 jobs in one year? Because he's trying to bring back jobs? Is that why he renegotiated NAFTA to ship even more jobs overseas? Or why he's floating the idea of running back into the TPP? Or why he signed an executive order cutting union pay? He's doing exactly the same shit Obama did when it comes to jobs, and that's nothing but harm for the working class.
He’s kinda a duche. Hopefully someone better will come along. Ultimately though it’s up to us to shape our destiny. People look at their lives and ask why are things so shitty? It’s gotta be those damn republicans or those damn Democrats. One side is playing us off the other to enrich themselves. We matter not to them that’s why I don’t get too worked up over this shameless kabuki theater
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
@Quoththeraven Amen. The responsibility ultimately lies with the people.

I'm not sure I want to get myself all worked up about why my opinion of the man is so negative, at the moment, but I will say, the end result of his Presidency, when viewed through the lens of history, will probably be mixed. I think it will be mostly negative, of course, but hopefully, we'll learn a few things from those mistakes this time and not repeat them.

Between cool and a bully I think. I asked parents mum says he comes out racist but might be doing something really good in the long run? Not sure how that makes sense.
