Do you know how to make your life better? If so, why havent you?

I dont know what to do with myself when i am alone. I am never more depressed and suicidal than when i am alone, in the dark, in the quiet. I dont know if my personal road to happiness is to have more time with myself. Its like my mind is trying to kill me - i want to let the darkness out not hole up inside with it. :( @livingaloha

@Genieinabottle I'm no doctor, nor do I know the circumstances of what you're going thru... but maybe you need to find a purpose with your life. Is there a hobby or a cause you're interested in? I started volunteering at the thrift shop at the adult daycare my mom goes to. I signed up for a hiking club who goes on hikes and helps clean up hiking trails. When you're down...you have to search for something that's going to bring you up. And staying at home alone is not going to do that. Chin up...one day at a time.

I actually think hard work, honesty and integrity will get anyone pretty far in life.

@rottenrobi i believe you are right. I think we have been led to believe that we can expect more satisfaction from life than we really can as well. Unrealistic expectations cause a multitude of suffering.

Some people don't want to put in the work to be successful. It takes a lot!

There has to be somehing more wrong than lack of money. Lack of skill, education, something else. Its bigger than money. I have money and i still want to hang myself.@FurryFace
