Do you believe in the cathartic ...

effect of a good cry?

How odd it seems that both sadness and often times joy causes water to fall from our eyes.

When the need arising to cry I let it flow...happy or sad. It cleanses the soul.

@Pambi I think so..I believe that people that hold all the emotion in are hurting themselves. And men and woman all have them.
Pambi · 26-30, F
@AlmostAnAngel Good stuff.
@AlmostAnAngel Amen! Exactly.

It's a release. You always seem to feel a little better afterwards.
Pambi · 26-30, F
@chuck7882 I agreed. ❤

A good jag serves to exhaust and send me to sleep. I’ll worry about the puffy eyes in the morning.
JustNik · 51-55, F
@TJNewton sigh.
TJNewton · M
@JustNik Well i dont get what you mean
JustNik · 51-55, F
@TJNewton a crying jag. The emotional onslought of uninhibited uncontrollable weeping. Not as pretty but more affordable than the car.
SW-User
I do. Sometimes, the pressure is too much to bear and the only outlet is this.
Seems related to the comedy/tragedy continuum.
SW-User
It's a natural pain release
Cry, no. But I have used "smash rooms" to very therapitic effect.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Absolutely. Keeping it in, for me, just makes it worse.
Pambi · 26-30, F
@uncalled4 I agree
TJNewton · M
Is that a poem ?
Pambi · 26-30, F
@TJNewton No...a simple question.
TJNewton · M
@Pambi Its too profound for me
MethDozer · M
Rarely. Most things are better to just suck up instead of dwelling on and letting them control the emotions.
