Ever keep your feelings to yourself..

A lot of times I delay expressing my feelings because I can't express them in an understandable manner. I do the same when I'm confused or overwhelmed, it just takes me a little while to process my thoughts and emotions and find a way to efficiently and effectively express them. That's one way people who know me can tell when I'm mad or getting mad...I suddenly clam up. Just to give you an example.

Ironically, you've done a great job of describing that sensation. Sometimes emotions don't fit into any particular box. Having lost a loved one recently, at times there is a mix of grief, acceptance, joy (memories) that really doesn't fit into a box.
