There are things more important than marriage

@iMystery Marriage is not the social norm it once was. Most adult couples don't marry now so why the emphasis?

@SW-User In that case there are still things more important than a relationship with a partner.

@iMystery Maybe. There is a beauty of being with someone who you feel completely understands you and brings you a joy, marriage or no marriage, and any attempt of denying that to me really misses the beauty in what a relationship can offer.

@SW-User As did I... since a very young age... but like so many have said before... "Be careful what you wish for".

@iMystery I've learned from the mistakes of my Dad. I know I don't wanna end up divorced like he did.

@SW-User I have learned much from my dad even though he was never around. In fact his absence was a life lesson...

Then your own life begins and other factors get involved...
