Just because something happened before is no guaranty it will continue to occur. We humans have screwed the pooch big time, climate-wise.

Our understanding of the reality is very limited. Then more we know, we know that we don't know.

Also, not to mansplain or put a damper on things, but for scientific curiosity/accuracy, the Sun will sterilize Earth in about a billion years, and the solidifying of Earth's core will render it uninhabitable in around 3 billion years, unless any number of cosmic catastrophes from asteroids to gamma ray bursts catches us first (highly likely). I supposed it's fairly safe to say none of us will see it coming (Which, in the case of asteroids and gamma ray bursts, is a problem). The Earth itself will probably exist, in some form, forever unless we live in a cyclic universe. The same cannot be said of humans, of course.

But the world-altering human has existed about 17,000 years (farming) only, with the capability to affect Earth on global scale less than hundred years old, starting soon after the first mass-produced automobile in 1901 that eventually made moving resources economical.
Of course, it's doubtful humans could have any effect on Pacific ring of fire earthquakes, and the present ones are nothing unusual, with the Japan on barely registering: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_earthquakes_in_Japan

@SENSME I didn't mention animals in my comment but I assumed people had enough brain cells to fill in the blanks.

Wrong. The estimated age of our universe is approaching 14 billion years. Our solar system established itself around 4.5 billion years ago. These reasonably reliable estimates based on sound physical knowledge@TJNewton
