In the age where modernization kills traditions , certain people still has the heart to uphold their traditions ! Hats off to them

Should we allow the ancient traditions to get vanished and let modernization take over ?[image deleted]

People who think they can educate the natives should just leave them alone. They are doing great without the intervention of the so-called modern world.

@cherokeepatti They are lovely people. Whenever I go to the outbacks, I make sure I sit and talk with the families living over there. Their closeness with nature and how the heal themselves is always an interesting thing to hear. Here are a few pics from William Ricketts sanctuary located in the dandenong ranges of Victoria. It's a lovely and calm place that beholds magnificent work related to theif culture on stones and wood. You may be seen them before as I keep posting about natives from time to time. Here they are

@SW-User This is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing your photos, they're awesome!!
It's good to hear that you take the time to sit with the natives and learn of their ways. I'd love to do this as well, especially with Native Americans. Have you by chance gotten to visit any Indian Reservations to explore & spend time with them?

@TheLoveAge You are welcome and thank you. Yes, I grew up in Cali and have visited several states exploring life. I have met a few people who belong to the Cheyenne and other tribes. I have listened to them and taken a few notes while hearing them. The oldest in the tribe has a lot to say. One of the persons told me that even if there are not many of them left, he is still very attached to his own heritage and want to live in the mountains. I'm part Samoan, people of my tribe have the similar story. We used to travel different islands to bond with others on those old age boats. I live in the city, but my heart and soul always wander in the mountains and the forest. I have posted several links yesterday of my hiking along the deep forests of Macedon Australia. I hiked on Saturday and spent a full 9 hours admiring nature. I'll share the links here.

We all desperately need enlightenment from the ancients, so no, we need to preserve them. And if it's a basic human right to follow your own traditions and without infringement upon others rights, what's the conflict? Except the bigotry & ignorance for some that would find fault, can't forget about that. And yes, hats off to him👍

Hats off to that young man . Today people are even ashamed to recognize their culture . Sitting in a UN conference proudly showing your tradition is by no means a small act .
SW-User
@Neena Thank you . Extremely well said .

Traditions and cultural ways should be left alone without outside people trying to enforce there own ways upon them.

In fact it’s my actual main reason for not living there
