Helping out around the house sounds a lot like doing chores. So it appears that your question presupposes sex as a chore for the woman. If the man does a load of laundry and empties the trash bins, his reward is sex. If he doesn't, the woman retaliates by going on a sex strike? I agree with IstillmissEP's point that using sex to coerce your partner into doing manual labor he is not inclined to otherwise do is sort of creepy.

A better approach might be simply asking the man to take specific responsibilities around the house. It's simply a roommate issue. Why drag sex into it?
