Why do people think im secretive?!

Me and my mom were discussing zodiac signs and said that me (Taurus) is very secretive. I asked her why and she said since i kept things hidden and wasent very open about sharing my personal life with others. It seemed very intrusive on her part, and astrolligically water signs are considered secretive ( Pisces,Scorpio and Cancer)
