I Love Old Photographs

The granulated texture... That yellow-ish tint... The rounded off corners... They look like the picture was taken through a magical mist, because they are just a little bit blurry, but not necessarily out of focus. I love how the style of clothes and the interior decoration brings me back to my childhood.

@SW-User I'm afraid for the future of photographs... Nobody prints hard copies anymore, everything is digital. So how are we going to keep these for generations when operating systems change every other year?! 50 years from now, do you think you will be able to find a way to read your USB drive?

Many of the photos from my early childhood were glossy black and whites with a white, scalloped border.

@MtnManJohn I know the kind of which you speak. My grandma has a bunch of those... It is as if the look of photos changes with each lifetime...
