I'm Looking For Genuine Connections With Kindhearted People

I wonder sometimes if trying is even worth it. Maybe I just have horrible luck with people...choosing the wrong folks to open up to, that kind of thing. Just when I think that it's going to be different...it ends up becoming the same old story, and I find out that they just aren't what they seem. It's disheartening, and a part of me wants to detach myself from society completely.

I still hold on to hope. I don't want to give up just yet. Haha, I almost always have to keep reminding myself that I'm young, and that I've still got things to look forward to. You never know who you're going to meet as you make your way through life...but I suppose that's part of the fun.
