I Believe Arrogance Hinders Personal Growth

This whole subject ( I find anyway) is basic common sense!
The ppl that are happy in their beliefs without any research if it's even true is one of the sadest social dilemmas of our time! Are the fearful or just plain lazy?! Lol! Gosh! I'd like to know if whatever I beleive in has any basis in fact!! I like to ( I try anyway! Lol) think like a scientist! If new facts come in disproving or adjusting what I thought to be true...I will make the necessary changes and get over my own darn ego! Ego has never served anyone well!
When I meet fearful ppl that are afraid they may be wrong...I apologize & either change the subject or remove myself from the glassy gaze! To me it's like; telling them that their building plans has a flaw ( even if u show them based on facts!) and there's a chance their building will crumble! I'm starting to beleive the simple motto;
Live and let live! Let them find out for themselves! Writing scripts for others isn't a good idea at all! Lol!
I guess being severely abused growing up makes me feel pain when their plans burn and crash....😔

Gosh, your writing truly touched me. I completely agree with you re arrogance & your right their pen is not ours to hold. They have to walk their path and I always think that their ignorance should be left to God to deal with as I’m not here by chance either!

I remember trying to “fix people” it came at a cost. I was literally hated for being kind.... what a bitch lol - anyway at the time I took it to heart too much, I was young, naive and too focused on my faith to see their short comings I kept pushing into the fire. In the end I walked away and opened a new door, I met better people who didn’t see my personal attributes as alien.

Now I am in a beautiful place. I am loved and I love my life, I’m thankful and I pray my loved one’s have the same strength that God have me all those years ago to keep strong in the face of doubt.

I would rather be the unsung hero with some humility than the bastard who created hell who received a standing ovation for his ego/ignorance.

Just because you are given an award for service to people and country doesn’t mean you have a moral compass these days.

I’m sorry to hear you went through what you went through.... 💜
@SW-User Thx very much for ur reply! I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone in this experience! The hardest lesson for me has been to NOT allow their toxic energy to enter into my happy go lucky realm!!! Also, realizing that it's them and not me has helped me tremendously! I seek a higher spiritual path! I'm starting to properly care for myself as its better to be ones own best friend than worst enemy! Lol! I think I've had enough of that!!!!🙄😊💐

Nobody knows what's really going on here and so I despise people who think they do and feel it their duty to tell others how to live. The more you know, the less you realise you know. It's humbling and that can only be a good thing.
@ZenKitzune I would high five u but I'm taking a bath! Lol!
Seriously though...I hear u loud and clear!!!

@Shewolfiie69 such a simple concept, it should be easy right? Enjoy your bath :)
@ZenKitzune I guess you'd agree that we make it as hard as it has to be right? Lol! Enjoy ur day! Thx for ur insightful words!!!

I find those who are arrogant and who are what I call willfully ignorant, have this "I" thing. If it is not good for, or centered on I/me' then it doesn't matter or is wrong. I try to ignore them, which doesn't always work; but trying to change them is like trying to move a mountain... not going to happen!
@frequentlyme I beleive u have given me the best answer! Thx for that! When ppl make valid points on life ( or what have u) it's wise to listen and hear them out! Too bad there's less of that these days!!!

@Shewolfiie69 It's simply because I've had to deal with lots of arrogance 😁
You are projecting your own experience growing up on others.

It is very likely that they aren't experiencing fear to "cling" on their beliefs.

I don't see the purpose in labeling others as arrogant when you can't identify this "spirit" that you embrace.
@Shewolfiie69
What levels are you talking about, levels of awareness?
My concern is when people attack the church i.e. @SW-User This invites undeserved attacks on Christ which I find totally unfounded.
@SomeLikeItHot Ok...lets start again plz? I beleive ppl have the right to worship as they please! My problem is when others push their own beliefs on me! When I chat about energy levels ( God/Christ highest level- negative/ demonic- lowest level). God our father is everywhere! The Kingdom of God is within me! In us all...I do not hate! I forgive, have compassion for others and wish all joy! I try to walk in the Light illuminating only truth and love! I use to be very self righteous but that is a fools errand! Thee without sin cast the first stone! I'm ignorant of the word for word writing in the bible but (personally) don't need it to know when I've done wrong!
Sorry if I've said anything to upset u! That wasn't my plan!
Enjoy ur day!
Sincerely,
Lucretzia/ Shewolfie
@Shewolfiie69
I am good and I am not upset.
I just see the title as provocative and judgemental against Christians.
