Queue is a funny word. The extra 'ue' at the end is totally unnecessary!!

They made the queue longer for nothing. Must be a British thing, you know how we love our queues 😒

Practically, the ueue is not necessary:)

@Eyeamhere exactly

It's a straight up french word. The English didn't bother changing it.
TheGoodGuy · M
@Longpatrol We've probably done this with a lot of words.

@TheGoodGuy Dee Anglais steal our wordz and they take our women!
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
Everything but the first letter is unnecessary. "Q" is pronounced the same way as "queue".
TheGoodGuy · M
helenS · 36-40, F
English spelling is almost unrelated to pronunciation. 😑
TheGoodGuy · M
@helenS Fun times 😎

If you remove the ue then you have que. Like Manuel from Fawlty Towers.
TheGoodGuy · M
@ninalanyon That guy is hilarious. Lol!
