Come to think of it, there's no one who wants me to be anything anymore. That's because they all gave up! I won!
Not working? Skipping every possible family gathering? Multiple partners? None of this even remotely addressed. Kinda weird, but it sure beats the relentless judging from the past. It seems that everyone around me has accepted the inevitable truth, that I will decide my path in life without guilt or compromise, and that this path will be significantly different than those well traveled. It's sometimes lonely, but always worth it.
